Assignment Title(s): Chinese New Year Music Day

Since Chinese New Year (also called the Lunar New Year) is coming up, together, let's:

1. Hear the story behind the Chinese New Year by watching all for videos.

2. Practice our rhythm skills with some traditional Chinese music

3. Make a coffee filter dumpling, a giant lantern, and a rhythm worksheet.

4. Learn how to do the Chinese fan dance or get up and move with some music.

Once you finish your journey at today's Snow Day Workshop, turn in all of your work to the substitute teacher.
